Andover 2nd XI faced tough opposition when they travelled to Bournemouth at the weekend. This proved to be the case as Andover went 2-1 down early on with a goal from Ben Anthony being the only relief. A hard battle then resulted in Bournemouth extending the lead to 3-1 by half time.
However Andover fought back and a flick on goal by Ben Evens slotted past the keeper. This was swiftly followed by a goal from Mark Frost after a scuffed cross from Ben Goacher was deflected off the post and onto his stick. allowing him to guide the ball into the goal. However the scores didn't remain equal for long with Bournemouth scoring from a break up the pitch and again from a penalty corner. This was much to the despair of the persevering Andover team.
